India Balco project:SEPCO was awarded EPC contract of India BALCO 4×135MW captive power plant in 2003. The project was put into operation in year 2006. It was the largest collaboration between India and China at that time. All corners of the society in India praised highly of the project: “its construction period set a new record short for power plant construction in India.”
