SEPCO was the only Chinese EPC contractor for construction of steam and power facility in Nanhai petrochemical complex which owned by CSPC (a JVC of CNOOC and Shell Petroleum N.V.). The owner contracted to a consortium consisted of Bechtel, SEI and Foster Wheeler as PMC to manage the project. Shell’s standards and project practices were applied in the whole project.

The project become a chance for SEPCO to raise their project management level by its characteristics such as: high HSE standards, digital 3D design, high standard procurement, multi-level quality control, network schedule and progress control and digital plant handover package.

SEPCO was praised by the Client – CSPC and project management contractor – Bechtel as “model contractor” for best fulfilling of the high standards and project requirements.
